General Publishing Terms & Conditions

1. General

General Publishing Terms & Conditions only form part of any Bespoke Publishing Agreement.

1. Able Limited Editions will not publish any work whatsoever which may be considered in any UK Court to be illegal and or unlawful in any way whatsoever.

2. Able Limited Editions will not publish any form and or type whatsoever of fairy tale and or erotica and or pornography.

3. Able Limited Editions will not enter any form and or type whatsoever of any Vanity Publishing Agreement with any person, company or individual. See the ALE Publishing Overview page of the Able Limited Editions website for brief overview of Vanity Publishing.

4. Able Limited Editions will not publish any unsolicited fiction or non-fiction manuscript whatsoever submitted to Able Limited Editions for publication.

5. Any unsolicited fiction or non-fiction work whatsoever submitted to Able Limited Editions in any way whatsoever will be destroyed by Able Limited Editions immediately on receipt of same.

6. Able Limited Editions will not be responsible in any way whatsoever for any damage whatsoever suffered by any person whosoever due to the person submitting any unsolicited fiction or non-fiction work to Able Limited Editions in any way whatsoever and Able Limited Editions applying their right to destroy same immediately as noted at 5. above.

7. For any fiction or non-fiction work whatsoever from any person whosoever to be considered by Able Limited Editions as being solicited the person submitting the work must first be invited by Able Limited Editions to submit their work and then accept their invitation by acknowledging acceptance before submitting any work. See the Initial Manuscript Submission Rules below for details on how to accept an invitation from Able Limited Editions to submit any solicited work.

8. If any person adheres to the Initial Manuscript Submission Rules below Able Limited Editions will send them a strictly confidential email containing Full Manuscript Submission Rules.

9. A suitable Bespoke Publishing Agreement will be drafted by Able Limited Editions based on the needs and requirements of the writer or author of the solicited work in the context of what had been submitted regarding the Initial Manuscript Submission Rules and negotiations thereafter before entering the Bespoke Publishing Agreement. The Agreement will clearly indicate the writer or author will not be charged any Publishing and or Book Production costs whatsoever re Vanity Publishing.

10. Able Limited Editions may charge the author a nominal Editorial Fee if any person submits any solicited work but failed in any significant way to adhere to any part whatsoever of the Full Manuscript Submission Rules and Able Limited Editions believes there is still substantial potential in publishing the incorrectly submitted Full Manuscript. If there is no substantial potential, Able Limited Editions may reject the incorrectly submitted Full Manuscript immediately and rescind the Bespoke Publishing Agreement or rightly insist the writer or author must re-write the Full Manuscript to conform with the Full Manuscript Submission Rules.

11. These General Publishing Terms & Conditions will form part of any Bespoke Publishing Agreement and invalidity of any part whatsoever of these Terms & Conditions will not invalidate any other part whatsoever and or any part of any Bespoke Publishing Agreement.

12. Force majeure will apply at all times, generally meaning Able Limited Editions will not be responsible in any way whatsoever for any damage whatsoever suffered in any way whatsoever by any writer or author and or any other person whosoever due to any act of God whatsoever and or act of war or terrorism whatsoever and or any act whatsoever of any hacker whosoever.

2. Initial Manuscript Submission Rules

1. If any person whosoever wishes to submit any of their fiction or non-fiction manuscripts to Able Limited Editions to consider for publication they must first contact Able Limited Editions via the online Contact Form in the Contact Us page of this Able Limited Editions website to first obtain a strictly confidential email address to then subsequently send introductory documents to.

2. Once they have received email notification of the confidential email address, they must then send a short cover letter of no more than 100 words written in GB English plus a synopsis of no more than 200 words also written in GB English within the main body of an email sent to the confidential email address and thereon attach a sample containing the first 3 chapters or first 25 pages of their proposed manuscript also written in GB English in word .doc format to their emailed cover letter and synopsis.

3. Subject only to the person adhering to these Initial Manuscript Submission Rules and suitability of their manuscript sample etc Able Limited Editions may then and only then invite them to submit their full manuscript to Able Limited Editions as solicited work firmly based on a strict non-disclosure clause.
